For Dr. Shane Tetzlaff, joining Gregorich & Matack Family Dental is more than the start of a career—it is a homecoming.
Born and raised in Superior, Wisconsin, Dr. Shane grew up in the Twin Ports and has deep roots in the community he now serves. After graduating from Superior High School, he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology, with minors in Chemistry and Psychology, from The College of St. Scholastica before completing his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Creighton University School of Dentistry.
As a longtime patient of Gregorich & Matack Family Dental, Dr. Shane experienced firsthand the compassionate, patient-centered care that has defined the practice for decades. Today, he is proud to return to the office that helped inspire his journey into dentistry and to provide that same level of care to others.
Dr. Shane is committed to helping patients feel comfortable, informed, and confident in their dental care. He enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and has particular interests in dental implants, oral surgery, root canal therapy, cosmetic dentistry, and caring for patients with dental anxiety.
What excites him most about dentistry is the opportunity to build lasting relationships with patients while improving their health, comfort, and quality of life. He believes every patient deserves personalized care delivered with honesty, compassion, and respect.
Outside the office, Dr. Shane enjoys spending time at the cabin with his wife, Natalie, and their two Golden Retrievers, Porter and Bogey. Whether golfing, scuba diving, traveling, or cheering on his favorite teams, he values time spent with family, friends, and the northern Minnesota community he is proud to call home.
Dr. Shane is honored to serve the community that helped shape him and looks forward to caring for patients and families throughout the Twin Ports for many years to come.
