Teeth Whitening

GMFD Featured Whitening 2

Teeth whitening is a popular, relatively simple procedure to restore smiles that may be stained, dull, or discolored.

More and more people today are choosing to undergo teeth whitening at our Duluth office in order to reverse the effects of aging and damage from food stains. While there are many “whitening” toothpastes and strips available commercially, professional whitening performed by our office is considered to be the most effective and long-lasting method; done properly, tooth whitening can last a long while!

Our safe bleaching process whitens the enamel and dentin of your teeth, giving you a smile that is immediately several shades whiter. If you are self-conscious about your teeth because they are yellowed or stained, you’ll be glad to know that it’s easy to whiten your smile at Gregorich & Matack Family Dental!

Advantages

Everyone would love to have a natural, bright white smile, but we live in a world filled with teeth staining factors such as coffee, red wine, and more! So, how do we get that perfect selfie-worthy smile? Well, achieving those bright white smiles are easier than most people think!

Frequently Asked Whitening Questions

At our office, immediate whitening procedures take just about one hour in most cases!

Teeth whitening can cause some sensitivity to the teeth and gums. Some patients experience little to no sensitivity, while other patients may need to limit the strength and time of the bleaching to avoid sensitivity.

A major benefit of whitening your teeth under dental professional care is that you significantly reduce the risk of any damage to tooth enamel, or gums!

There is nothing special you need to do before whitening, however, the treatment does work best on healthy teeth free of plaque and tartar. In that case, it’s best to ensure you have had your teeth professionally cleaned prior to your appointment.

Whitening does not change the color/shade of dental veneers or any non-natural tooth restoration.
